October 13th, 2013, 10 am (CR time)
Presenter: James Taylor, EFL Teacher
Target Audience: EFL/ESL Teachers
Session Description: Reading activities tend to follow the same procedure, no matter who you are teaching and what level they are. However I think there are many more interesting things we can do with a text than skimming, scanning and answering comprehension questions. In this workshop, I will ask teachers to think more deeply about the texts they use and share practical ideas for making the most of a reading.
